On-Call

There are several ways our clean on-call scheduling UI makes it easy to manage and visualize your on-call schedules:
πŸ–ŒοΈ Color-coding by team member
πŸ—“οΈ View by day, week, or month
🌎 Switch between time zones with a dropdown
πŸ—‚οΈ Group schedules together in collapsible folders

Now, you can enjoy all of these options while viewing multiple schedules at once in a layered calendar view. Some use cases where this comes in handy:

  • Identify folks who may be on call for multiple schedules at the same time so you can better optimize your coverage
  • Stagger handoffs across schedules that interact with each other to avoid disrupting incident progress with multiple handoffs at once
  • Easily build shadowing schedules, pairing new responders with experienced responders on the same rotation

To organize and edit multiple schedules at once, head to On-Call > On-Call Schedules from the left side navigation menu and toggle View multiple Schedules to on. From there, you can use the checkbox on each schedule to add it to the calendar view.

Happy scheduling!
